Volleyball Game Preview: Pioneer Panthers vs. North Miami Warriors

The Pioneer Panthers will head out to square off against the North Miami Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Miami took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Pioneer, who comes in off a win.

North Miami will be up against a hot Pioneer team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Triton on Tuesday.

Pioneer never let Triton on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-21, 25-21.

Meanwhile, after a string of eight wins, North Miami's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Oak Hill.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18, 22-25, 25-17.

Pioneer's victory bumped their record up to 15-12. As for North Miami, their loss dropped their record down to 20-6.

Pioneer took their win against North Miami when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
