Recap: Venice vs. Hamilton
Even though Venice has not done well against Hamilton recently (they were 1-7-1 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Venice didn't even let Hamilton onto the board and left with a 2-0 win. That's another feather in the cap for Venice, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Brandon Moldanado and
Raul Peryanez, who scored.
Venice's victory bumped their record up to 6-4-1. As for Hamilton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9-1 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Venice will face off against Westchester at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Westchester has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 2. As for Hamilton, they will head out on the road to take on Palisades at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
