It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but West Liberty-Salem ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past the Indian Lake Lakers 7-6. With that win, the Tigers brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.
West Liberty-Salem's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Isaiah Reames, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double. Caleb Hershberger was another, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
