Meanwhile, after soaring to ten runs the game before, Moniteau was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They lost 9-1 to Cranberry Area. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Berries recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
Lily Staab was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Halle Beatty, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.
Keystone now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Moniteau, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
Moniteau's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Keystone has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .471. It's a different story for Moniteau, though, as they've only averaged .341. Will they be able to contain Keystone's hitters?
