Volleyball Game Preview: Horizon Science Academy-Southwest Huskies vs. Harlan Falcons

The Horizon Science Academy-Southwest Huskies will head out on the road to face off against the Harlan Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Harlan took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Horizon Science Academy-Southwest, who comes in off a win.

Horizon Science Academy-Southwest is headed out to face Harlan after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Huskies walked away with a 2-0 victory over Corliss on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Huskies sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row dating back to last season.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Horizon Science Academy-Southwest was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-9.

Harlan kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Richards.

Horizon Science Academy-Southwest was able to grind out a solid win over Harlan in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
