Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Minooka walked away with it. They were the clear victor by a 61-35 margin over the Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Indians, who have now won eight contests in a row.

Leading Minooka to victory were Madelyn Kiper and Naya Carter. Kiper dropped a double-double with 19 points and 12 boards, while Carter went 9-for-13 to rack up 19 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. The game was Kiper's fifth in a row with at least 15 points. Mckenna Delaney was another key player, putting up 12 points and five rebounds.

Minooka smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in eight consecutive matchups.

Minooka's victory bumped their record up to 21-10. As for Bradley-Bourbonnais, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-23 record this season.

Minooka has already played their next game, a 49-44 loss against Pekin on the 20th. Bradley-Bourbonnais does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
