Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Covenant Christian). Their defense stepped up to hand the Indianapolis Shortridge Blue Devils a 9-0 shutout on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Heidi Rohrback as she scored three goals for her team.

The win (which was Covenant Christian's fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matchups. As for Indianapolis Shortridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Looking ahead, Covenant Christian will head out on the road to face off against Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter at 6:00 p.m. on October 2. As for Indianapolis Shortridge, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Bethesda Christian at 5:30 p.m.
