Woodland Park and Banning Lewis Academy are an even 3-3 against one another since February of 2021, but not for long. The Woodland Park Panthers will take on the Banning Lewis Academy Stallions at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Woodland Park has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Woodland Park challenged La Junta on Saturday. Woodland Park was the clear victors by a 68-47 margin over La Junta.

It was another big night for Zach Summeril, who went 13-for-19 to rack up 27 points and six boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. Breckten Wilson was another key player, putting up nine points and six assists.

Meanwhile, Banning Lewis Academy had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.6 points) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Monday. They took down the Demons 59-41.

Banning Lewis Academy's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3. As for Woodland Park, their victory bumped their record up to 8-11.
