League recap: Middleton moves into Wisconsin top 25

With a big week, Middleton jumped into the top 25 in the state rankings. Middleton moved up from No. 26 in the state all the way to No. 18 thanks to a 3-0 record over the past week. Led by manager Tom Schmitt, the Cardinals are ranked No. 1876 in the nation with an overall record of 14-4.

Sun Prairie (18-1, 14-0) is riding a league-best 14-game winning streak. The streak was extended by another three games over the past week, including a 4-1 win over Madison Memorial.
