After flying high against Brush last Thursday, Cleveland Central Catholic came back down to earth. The Cleveland Central Catholic Ironmen were outmatched by the Villa Angela-St. Joseph Vikings and fell 76-48. The Ironmen were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-29.

Sean Shenker was his usual excellent self, going 6 for 7 from beyond the arc on his way to 27 points for Villa Angela-St. Joseph. The dominant performance gave Shenker a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Jaevon Hairston, who went 5 of 7 en route to 13 points.

Cleveland Central Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Villa Angela-St. Joseph, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.

Cleveland Central Catholic will venture away from home to challenge John Hay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Villa Angela-St. Joseph has already played their next matchup, an 84-72 loss against St. Edward on the 1st.
