Metamora is 10-0 against East Peoria since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Metamora Redbirds will head out on the road to challenge the East Peoria Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Tuesday, Metamora was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 50-44 to Limestone.

Meanwhile, East Peoria was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against Morton, falling 72-34. The Raiders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-20.

East Peoria's defeat dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Metamora, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-13 record this season.

Metamora beat East Peoria 61-48 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Metamora since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
