            The Westlake Chaparrals will venture away from home to  square off against the Bowie Bulldogs  at 7:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Westlake is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.7  goals per game  this season.
Westlake's defense heads into the  matchup  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Friday. They were the clear victor by  a  4-0 margin over Austin. Even though the Chaparrals got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Logan Thomson was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.
Westlake hit Austin with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from  Yaniv Dajman (2),  Ethan Fuss,  and  Ryan Bliss.
 Meanwhile, Bowie fell victim to Dripping Springs and their airtight defense  on Friday. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of  1-0.
 Bowie's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Westlake,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 6-3-2.
 Westlake came up short against Bowie when the teams last played  back in March of 2024, falling  3-1. Can Westlake avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
