Vela Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Jonathan Flores

Jonathan Flores's big game helped extend Vela's winning streak to six on Friday. Flores was dynamite, rushing for 135 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 131 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Juarez-Lincoln's probably not too fond of Flores given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Flores saw the Huskies), he rushed for 244 yards and five touchdowns on only 12 carries.
