Basketball Game Preview: Grapevine Mustangs vs. Richland Royals

The Grapevine Mustangs will square off against the Richland Royals at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Tuesday, Grapevine was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 47-41 to Birdville. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Richland ended up a good deal behind Birdville on Friday and lost 40-26.

Richland has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-15 record this season. As for Grapevine, their loss dropped their record down to 12-19.
