Volleyball Recap: Wheeler Comes Up Short

Wheeler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Cambridge Gryphons, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-12, 25-18.

Cambridge can attribute much of their success to Anna Lu, who had 11 assists and five aces. Those five aces gave Lu a new career-high.

Wheeler's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Cambridge, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Wheeler will square off against Newton Country Day of the Sacred Heart at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cambridge, they will welcome Landmark at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
