Recap: Blair County Christian Bobcats vs. DuBois Christian
The Blair County Christian Bobcats entered their tilt with DuBois Christian with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Blair County Christian took down DuBois Christian 45-28 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Blair County Christian also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Blair County Christian was led to victory by Caedmon Dull and Ealor Burket. Dull scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and eight assists, while Burket scored 20 points along with four steals. That's the first time this season that Burket scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonathan Marucci, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Blair County Christian's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for DuBois Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Blair County Christian will look to defend their home court on Monday against Johnstown Christian at 7:00 p.m. Johnstown Christian comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for DuBois Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Calvary Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Calvary Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 last Thursday.
