Nevada Union extended their losing streak  to three  on Friday, dropping them down to 2-4. They were dealt  a  56-17 defeat at the hands of the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos. The Miners were not able to make up for their  loss to the Raging Rhinos from their previous meeting  back in October of 2024.

 When it comes to explaining why Nevada Union lost, don't look at  Rhyder Eelkema. Despite the final result, he rushed for 131 yards and one  TD on only 14 carries. Eelkema's rushing production has been exceptional  as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 131  rushing yards.
As for Twelve Bridges, the  win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. The  matchup marked their most dominant  victory of the  season so far.
 Leading Twelve Bridges to victory were  Connor Frontiera and  Chase Wyhlidko.  Frontiera threw for 331 yards and five  touchdowns while picking up 16.6 yards per attempt, while  Wyhlidko rushed for 104 yards and three  scores on only nine carries. Those  331  passing yards gave  Frontiera a new career-high.  Matthew Marquez helped out on the ground, rushing for 87 yards.
 Nevada Union didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  28-3  defeat against Roseville on the 10th. As for Twelve Bridges, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  contest,  a  49-24  win against Placer on the 10th.
