Baseball Game Preview: Cle Elum-Roslyn Warriors vs. Warden Cougars

The Cle Elum-Roslyn Warriors will head out to take on the Warden Cougars at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cle Elum-Roslyn's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Warden's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Cle Elum-Roslyn is headed into the contest having just posted their closest victory since April 30, 2024 on Saturday. They never let Brewster get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Cle Elum-Roslyn saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hayden Case, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Warden's offense. They came up short against Colfax on Saturday, falling 7-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Cougars were not able to get on the board.

Warden's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Cle Elum-Roslyn, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-5.

Cle Elum-Roslyn took their victory against Warden in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 11-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
