Leyton Cortez Game Report: @ West Valley

While Monroe Catholic might've come up empty on Tuesday, Leyton Cortez wasn't going down without a fight. Cortez went 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long.

Coming up, Cortez and Monroe Catholic will face off against North Pole at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams have some work to do to even out the 1-7 series between these two since April of 2021, but a win here would be a good start.
