Robinson was the 6-3 winner over South County when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams came up short against the Stallion on Thursday, falling 12-6. The Rams' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Marina Palazzo was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Izzy Covey was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Robinson's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for South County, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-7 record.

Looking ahead, Robinson will challenge Woodson at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Rams will need to watch out since the Cavaliers have now posted at least ten runs in their last five games. As for South County, they will square off against West Potomac at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Stallion's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolverines have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season.
