Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Buckingham). They walked away with a 78-67 win over the Prince Edward County Eagles on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Eagles back in December of 2024, they had to take a 66-62 loss.

Buckingham has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.8 points per game. As for Prince Edward County, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Buckingham and Appomattox County will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played.
