Football Recap: East Robertson Indians vs. Pope John Paul II Knights

East Robertson got themselves on the board against Pope John Paul II on Friday, but Pope John Paul II never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 24-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead East Robertson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kason Young, who threw for 187 yards and a pair of TDs on only 12 passes, and also rushed for 39 yards and one score. The Indians' leading receiver Cade Brooks was Young's top target yet again, picking up 101 receiving yards and one touchdown, while also rushing for 63 yards on only five carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: East Robertson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 290 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pope John Paul II only rushed for 57 rushing yards.
