Basketball Recap: Jagger Nieves Key Part of a Team Effort in Broncos Win

San Juan's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to North Sevier on Friday. The San Juan Broncos took down the Duchesne Eagles 47-33. The win was some much needed relief for the Broncos as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

San Juan got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jagger Nieves out in front who went 6 of 7 en route to 13 points and six rebounds. Nieves is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Jaiten Knight was another key player, going 5 for 8 on his way to 11 points.

San Juan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in 13 consecutive matches.
