Lake Pointe Academy extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from James Jacobs. The Lake Pointe Academy Mariners walked away with a 59-50 victory over the Greenville Classical Academy Lions on Friday thanks in part to Jacobs, who posted 23 points. He has been hot, having posted 15 or more points the last seven times he's played.

Joba Hickey was another key player, putting up 13 points. Those 13 points gave him a new career-high.

Lake Pointe Academy is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Greenville Classical Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Lake Pointe Academy will head out to take on Hampton Park Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
