Baseball Recap: Flatonia Comes Up Short

Flatonia lost against Fayetteville back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs fell 6-2 to the Lions. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Flatonia's loss dropped their record down to 7-5-1. As for Fayetteville, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Flatonia will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ganado at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Fayetteville, they will welcome BVCHEA HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
