South County lost to Fairfax back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Stallions narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Lions 17-15. Surprisingly, this marked the Stallions' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

A big part of South County's win came down to the chemistry between Dylan Miller and his top target Trevion Campbell. Miller threw for 339 yards and one touchdown while completing 71.8% of his passes while Campbell picked up 200 receiving yards and one TD. Campbell didn't just play on offense: he also made one tackle and defended one pass in addition to snagging an interception.

South County's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Fairfax, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3.
