Despite the loss, Algoma Christian still got an impressive performance from Makayla Afton, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 11 boards. Afton is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last eight games she's played. Nori Taylor also deserves some recognition as she grabbed her first steal of the season.
