Basketball Recap: North Hagerstown Comes Up Short

North Hagerstown was the 63-62 winner over Tuscarora when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The North Hagerstown Hubs fell just short of the Tuscarora Titans by a score of 64-61 on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (59), the Hubs still had to take the loss.

When it comes to explaining why North Hagerstown lost, don't look at Joey Dorsey. Despite the final result, he went 9-for-15 to rack up 25 points and three steals. That's the most points Dorsey has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Khalil Peggues, who earned eight points in addition to seven boards and three blocks.

North Hagerstown's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Tuscarora, their record is now 9-7.

Coincidentally, North Hagerstown and Tuscarora will both be playing Governor Thomas Johnson the next time they take the court. Tuscarora will head out to face Governor Thomas Johnson on Tuesday, while North Hagerstown will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
