Deacon Arends put up the most points he's had since back in February of 2024 on Friday. He dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten rebounds. He also posted four blocks, which is notable because Marshall is 3-1 when he posts at least three blocks, but 7-11 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Arends and Marshall will be playing at home against Moberly at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. The match will pit Arends up against the Spartans' star point guard Collin Knox.
