Soccer Game Preview: Oak Ridge vs. Dobyns-Bennett

The Oak Ridge Wildcats will be taking part in a tournament against the Dobyns-Bennett Indians at 11:20 a.m. on Friday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

It was a proper cat-fight when Oak Ridge faced off against Pigeon Forge on Thursday. Oak Ridge fell 3-1 to Pigeon Forge.

Meanwhile, Dobyns-Bennett hasn't lost a match yet, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. Neither they nor Davidson could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Dobyns-Bennett's goal came courtesy of Lucas Park, which was the first he's scored this season.

Dobyns-Bennett's draw makes their record 3-0-2 this season. As for Oak Ridge, they now have a losing record of 1-2-1.

Oak Ridge was able to grind out a solid win over Dobyns-Bennett in their previous matchup back in April of 2017, winning 4-2. Will Oak Ridge repeat their success, or does Dobyns-Bennett have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
