Softball Recap: North Miami Gets the Win

North Miami proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by ten) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-9 win over the Oak Hill Golden Eagles. Ten seems to be a good number for the Warriors as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Jordyn Hackworth was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (three). Aricyn Hunt was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

North Miami's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Oak Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Coming up, North Miami will welcome Northwestern at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Oak Hill, they will venture away from home to take on Maconaquah at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Golden Eagles are facing the Braves at the right time seeing as the Braves are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
