             Apollo hasn't had much luck against Owensboro recently, but that could start to change  on Tuesday. The Apollo Eagles will head out to  square off against the Owensboro Red Devils  at 7:00  p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one:  both  posted some lofty  goal totals in their previous games.
 Apollo's defense heads into the  game  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Tuesday. Everything went their way against McLean County as Apollo made off with  a  7-0 victory. Considering the Eagles have won four contests by more than two  goals this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 They hit McLean County with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from 
 Lilli Ruth (3), 
 Leila Miller (2), and 
 Cing Kiim.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better  (just ask Owensboro). They were the clear victor by  a  4-0 margin over Paducah Tilghman on Saturday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest  win of the  season.
 The  victory made it two in a row for Apollo and  bumps their season record up to 5-4. As for Owensboro, they now  have a winning record of 4-3-1.
