Worthington Kilbourne lost against Hayes back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wolves fell 12-8 to the Pacers. The Wolves' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Braden Pullins was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple. That triple was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Grant Todd, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Worthington Kilbourne's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-2. As for Hayes, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Worthington Kilbourne will challenge Teays Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hayes, they will face off against Mt. Vernon at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
