Volleyball Recap: Cedar Shoals Takes a Loss

Cedar Shoals was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Oconee Titans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jaguars of the 0-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-10.

Cedar Shoals' loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for North Oconee, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-6.

Cedar Shoals will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hart County at 5:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for North Oconee, they will square off against Walton at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
