On Thursday Sam Narron tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit, which was good enough to also set a new career-high in strikeouts. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his seventh in a row with less than one earned run. This year, he has an ERA of .88 over 8 innings pitched.
