Softball Recap: Snook Christian Academy Wins Going Away Against Atmore Christian

Snook Christian Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against the Atmore Christian Rams on Friday as the Snook Christian Academy Eagles made off with a 14-2 victory. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Snook Christian Academy let Alyssa Hayes and Madelyn Tompkins run wild. Hayes scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2, while Tompkins scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. That's the most runs Tompkins has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Harper Raines, who scored two runs while getting on base in both of her plate appearances.

Snook Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .783. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Atmore Christian only posted an OBP of .438.

Snook Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-2 defeat against Morgan Academy on the 21st. Atmore Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Snook Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on March 13th.
