Football Game Recap: Holy Cross vs. Providence

After a dominant victory in their contest last week, Holy Cross were humbled on Friday. They took a 7-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of Providence. If Holy Cross were expecting to get some payback for the 14-17 loss against Providence the last time they met, then they were left disappointed.

The defeat dropped Holy Cross' record to 4-3. The win bumped Providence's record up to 5-2.

In two weeks Holy Cross take on Kentucky Country Day at 7:00 PM. Providence will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Mitchell. Each team will be battling to keep a win streak alive as Providence skips in on five wins and Mitchell on three.
