Volleyball Recap: Bourne Has No Trouble Against Ursuline Academy

Bourne extended their postseason success on Saturday against Ursuline Academy. They blew past the Bears 3-0. The Canalmen haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

One reason for the win was Bourne's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-16, 25-15.

Among those leading the charge was Avery Morrill, who had 12 digs.

Bourne was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 25 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Bourne's win bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Ursuline Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 15-8 record.

As of now, neither Bourne nor the Bears have any future games scheduled.
