If Cactus Shadows was feeling good fresh off their 70-50 takedown of Marcos de Niza last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cactus Shadows Falcons fell just short of the Arcadia Titans by a score of 70-68 on Tuesday. The Falcons' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Cactus Shadows' loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-6. As for Arcadia, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cactus Shadows will host St. Mary's at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Cactus Shadows' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups. As for Arcadia, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Mesquite at 7:00 p.m. Arcadia knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Mesquite likes a good challenge.
