Basketball Recap: Buena Comes Up Short on the Road Against Pennsauken Tech

Buena kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 45-33 to Pennsauken Tech. The Chiefs just can't catch a break and have now endured 24 defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Pennsauken Tech's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tyrone Baker led the charge by going 8 for 13 on his way to 19 points. That's the most points Baker has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Omari Spencer, who went 8 of 15 en route to 16 points and eight rebounds.

Buena will head out to face off against Salem County Vo-Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Pennsauken Tech, they will welcome Varsity Opponent at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
