Preview: North Forsyth Vikings vs. McMichael Phoenix

North Forsyth is 0-5 against McMichael since January of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The North Forsyth Vikings will look to defend their home court against the McMichael Phoenix at 6:00 p.m. North Forsyth comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.

Last Friday, North Forsyth came up short against West Stokes and fell 35-25.

Despite their defeat, North Forsyth saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Nyemia Sides, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Ariel Odugba was another key contributor, scoring five points along with 11 rebounds.

Meanwhile, McMichael waltzed into their match on Friday with three straight wins but they left with four. They blew past Reidsville, posting a 59-14 victory at home. That 45 point margin sets a new team best for McMichael this season.

North Forsyth dropped their record down to 6-14 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for McMichael, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.
