It was a proper cat-fight when Raton took on Pecos on Tuesday. The Tigers were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over the Panthers. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won six matchups by 15 runs or more so far this season.

Raton pushed their record up to 8-9 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.4 runs over those games. As for Pecos, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Raton will venture away from home to take on Santa Rosa at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Pecos, they will face off against Mora at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rangers/Rangerettes will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
