After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Xavier College Prep, Notre Dame Prep was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Sunnyslope Vikings 2-1. This was payback for the Saints, who suffered a 2-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, Sunnyslope still got an impressive performance from Lainey Johnson, who had nine digs and two assists.

Notre Dame Prep's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Sunnyslope, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-4.

Notre Dame Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Orangewood Christian on the 26th. As for Sunnyslope, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against James Logan on the 26th.
