 Sierra Lutheran's game  last Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the North Tahoe Lakers  and snuck past  6-4. That's more bragging rights for Sierra Lutheran, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Joseph Seddon made a big impact no matter where he played. He  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out ten over 5.1 innings pitched. Seddon was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Paul Mueller was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 4-for-5.  Drew Gleiser was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
 Sierra Lutheran's win  ended  a  six-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 2-7. As for North Tahoe, they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-5.
