After losing to Pike Road the last time they met, Rehobeth decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Rebels walked away with a 6-3 win over the Patriots on Thursday.

Alex Cobb spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Payten Roland, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (three). Kryslin Martin was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Rehobeth's victory bumped their record up to 7-8-1. As for Pike Road, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-20.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rehobeth will take on Hewitt-Trussville in a tournament on Friday. As for Pike Road, they will venture away from home to challenge Russell County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
