It's playoff time, and Miami had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Columbus Explorers on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Stingarees, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Miami got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 31-29, 25-21.

Miami's victory bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Columbus, their loss ended a 14-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 24-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Miami will welcome Western at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Stingarees surely won't give up without a fight. As for Columbus, they will host West Broward at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
