Baseball Recap: Southeastern Local Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Southeastern Local's offense. They came up short against the West Jefferson Roughriders on Monday, falling 14-0. The loss leaves the Trojans still looking for their first win of the season.

Southeastern Local's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for West Jefferson, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-3.

Coming up, Southeastern Local will head out on the road to challenge Mechanicsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight. As for West Jefferson, they will host Greenon at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in the Roughriders' favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while the Knights have been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
