Softball Recap: Narragansett Regional Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Victory

Narragansett Regional put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Bromfield Trojans 15-7. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by six runs or more this season.

Cassidy Paridis was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Paridis was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one triple and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lacey Beauregard, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. Gianna Manca was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one double.

Narragansett Regional kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive contests.

Narragansett Regional pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Bromfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Narragansett Regional is taking a road trip to square off against Montachusett RVT at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Bromfield, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Maynard at 3:45 p.m. on the 28th.
