Vale is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Fruitland. Vale lost 15-2 to Fruitland. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-1 on Saturday.

Vale saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Damick Eddy, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Vale now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Fruitland, their victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

Vale didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Lakeview on the 27th. As for Fruitland, they have also already played their next contest, a 12-0 win against Roosevelt on the 25th.
