Basketball Game Preview: Springbrook Blue Devils vs. Blake Bengals

The Springbrook Blue Devils will take on the Blake Bengals on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Monday, Springbrook took a blow against Richard Montgomery, falling 67-32. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Blake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Sherwood and fell 58-20. While losing is never fun, the Bengals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 219th, while the Warriors are ranked 99th).

Blake's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Springbrook, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.

Springbrook was able to grind out a solid win over Blake in their previous matchup back in January, winning 43-35. Will Springbrook repeat their success, or does Blake have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
